Tessa Rosen

Almost 13-year-old Tessa Rosen is in 8th grade at Oakland School for the Arts and has a love for performing. She has wanted to pursue acting and singing ever since kindergarten when she was an extra in Mary Poppins. She loves to act, sing, dance, play piano and ukulele, and any do sort of art! At Oakland School for the Arts, Tessa is able to learn how to act through various teachers. Tessa also takes dance lessons at East Bay Dance Center, and is self taught on the ukulele, and working on learning the piano.

Tessa’s been in many shows, including Les Mis, Macbeth, Wicked, and many more. She is currently in rehearsal for a production of Children of Eden and Everybody at her school, and The Teenstage showcase at the berkeley playhouse. Tessa enjoys performing because it is so amazing to be able to sing or dance or act your heart out and she loves the whole community of performers. Tessa would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her, and she is so excited for the performance!
