Celebration of Music - Talent Search

Hello everyone! My name is Tessa Lucia Pagone, I am 11 years old, and my passion is dance. I love to dance because I can express myself and my emotions. Dance is a form of art that is just natural to me and I feel at home when I am on stage. I started dancing at the age of 2 & never stopped. I never pass up the chance to take lessons, learn from famous choreographers and attend dance conventions all over the United States. My favorite form of dance is Contemporary, but I also train in Acrobatics, Lyrical, Jazz, Tap, Pointe, Ballet & Hip-Hop.

When I was 7 years old I attended my first Regional Competition. I won 1st place and couldn’t wait to compete again! Since then I have won 1st place in several other Regional Competitions as well as National Competitions. I love Competition season because I am able to travel around the country, meet new friends, and do what I love the most… Dance.

I currently train at Studio 19 Dance Complex. I train every day of the week after school for 5 hours each day and have choreography and private lessons on the weekends. Along with learning from the very talented, experienced teachers at Studio 19 Dance Complex, I have learned from famous choreographers who have worked with Pink, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift & Jennifer Lopez. I have also worked with choreographers who have appeared on So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars & World of Dance.

In my spare time, I still love to dance, and I enjoy acting and singing as well. My other favorite thing to do is cuddle with my puppy Rookie & travel as much as I can to see the world. I love New York City and attending Broadway Shows. One of my favorites was Mean Girls. My goal is to enroll and attend The Julliard School at The Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and study dance. I hope to be on Broadway one day and live in New York or Los Angeles and fulfill my dream and passion for dance, theatre, singing or wherever my journey takes me. I am very thankful for all of my family and teachers who have been so supportive and there for me during the last nine years of dance.
