Celebration of Music - Talent Search

Howdy everyone! I am Sophiánna Smith, and I am a 13 year old singer/songwriter, actress, model, & dancer raised in the Texas Hill Country near San Antonio, TX. I have been in the entertainment industry since I was about 7 years old, and LOVE really anything that involves music and the arts and of course a stage! When other parents were driving their kids to sports practices, mine were shuttling me to 3 hour rehearsals for musical theatre productions, and I loved every minute of it! I shifted from public school to online private school Laurel Springs after my 4th grade year so I could spend more time training and doing what I love, performing! I enjoy writing songs and have been playing the piano for about 5 years now. A little fun fact about me is that I am in a new thriller movie from Blumhouse Productions and Divide/Conquer on NETFLIX called Mercy Black, written and directed by Owen Egerton. I have also performed one of my songs I wrote LIVE on Great Day SA when I was just a little kid! Other than that, I just your typical teenager. I am a lover of all books that are horror, and love making slime and playing with my 2 cats when I am not traveling. I am the oldest of 3 in our family, and my younger siblings also dabble in the industry. My brother Jag, who is trained in the drums and piano, has shot for 2 campaigns for Gymboree and my little sister Eme May was the face of Matilda Jane! My mom was in a band called The Fiddlers Three when she was kid and played the fiddle and sang! So, you could say our love for the entertainment industry, music, and the arts runs deep!
