Shoshana Gem Sprecher is 14 years old from West Bloomfield, Michigan. She has been singing all of her life and it helps her stay content and relieve stress. Her parents constantly tell her she sings without noticing it and have heard her sing herself to sleep starting as a little girl, even in public silently singing or humming to herself. During her school years, she has always been involved in musical productions and talent shows. She plays the piano and ukulele and is also in the process of learning to play the guitar. When she is not involved with music, her next favorite thing to do is horseback ride and along with going to horseback riding summer camp, she is on the High School Equestrian Team. The song she chose to showcase is Rise Up by Andra Day. This song shows her vocal range and passion for singing. Most of her favorite songs have beautiful spirits, meaningful messages, and are very uplifting; expressing these elements in any type of genre. Music is an avenue for touching people's hearts and souls and she hopes you love listening to this song just as much as she enjoyed singing it, hopefully inspiring you enough to grant her your vote!
