Sarah Kline

Sarah has loved music her entire life. As a child, she was surrounded by positive musical influences at home. Her mother Emily is a pianist and piano teacher, as is as her grandmother Pam. Her father David played alto saxophone during his school years. She was exposed to many varieties of music by her parents and grew to love their 1980’s Rock. Sarah was thrilled when her and her older sister Bethany unwrapped a karaoke machine in 2005 because she was always in the mood to sing! Around age eight she started piano lessons. In time, she learned to play popular songs to sing along with, which evolved into trying her hand at creating her own compositions to play and sing. As a young teenager, she taught herself enough guitar to compose songs with it too. So far, she has composed over thirteen songs.

Throughout high school Sarah was involved in school and church choir both in singing and accompanying on the piano. She sang the national anthem dozens of times at Osseo Senior High’s football, basketball, and volleyball games (she played volleyball and Lacrosse at Osseo High as well). Sarah shared her musical talents with others by participating and helping to organize her high school talent shows. As a junior and senior, Sarah was elected student senate president. She also served as her Varsity Choir’s vice president as a senior. At the end of her high school choir career she received the “National School Choral Award” only given to one female and one male at the end of each school year. She sang and played guitar at her 2017 graduation commencement ceremony at Mariucci Arena singing “I Hope You Dance,” made popular by Lee Ann Womack.

In addition to music, Sarah loves being with friends, family and her dog Lord Vader. Currently, she is a full-time student at North Hennepin Community College near her Maple Grove home where she intends to transfer to a University for a bachelor’s degree. She works part-time in the evenings and some mornings as a piano teacher for the company her mom started, All Things Musik. Sarah gets glowing reviews from her students and loves teaching beginners how to play piano. She is grateful for her musical talents and role it plays in her life.
