Since I first discovered the piano in the Marx Brothers films’, I wanted to learn how to play it. With time I discovered the infinite colors and sensations that I could only find in classical music and were those emotions and joyfulness that brought me to play and devote my life to share this wonderful treasure that I’m sure can touch the heart of everyone that opens up to it.

The fascinating thing about classical music it’s not only the challenge of playing great musical masterpieces of the past, but that each person will play it differently, making every single approach of each interpretation personal and unique. This happens also within the performances of a single player! I was just listening to both takes I made for the TV show of the Scriabin ètude and they were very different from each other even I’d played them with only half minute break in between. Neither of both are my best rendition of the piece, but that is another exciting element of the equation, because the condition in which you play and how you are feeling each day or moment can affect not only the quality but also the mood and character in the final result.

The “Pathetique étude”, played in the TV show, it’s a short thrilling and breathtaking piece that makes me imagine the end of the world with meteorites falling from the sky and a terrible chaos around. It’s always a psychical and mental effort to play it because of its technical difficulty and musical intensity. I hope you enjoy it!

I was born in Madrid, in Spain and I’m now studying my Masters in piano at Colburn Conservatory of Music. I’m grateful to this institution that gave me the opportunity to study with full scholarship and put my whole soul into music. I have also attended seminars and masterclasses throughout the world: France, Spain, Austria, Italy, Puerto Rico, Croatia, Germany, Sweden, which has given me also knowledge of other cultures and ways of living.

I have been lectured by many excellent professionals and artists such as Fabio Bidini, Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Vladimir Ovchinnicov, Dimitri Bashkirov, Jura Margulis, Christopher Elton Peter Donohoe, Nino Kereselizde, Rena Sherevsheskaya, Eldar Nebolsin, Claudio Martínez-Mehner, Lylia Zilberstein, Josep Colom, Lang Lang, among others.

I have participated in piano competitions having obtained numerous first prizes that have encouraged me to continue a career that is my passion even though it is very demanding; but I love it! I also loved that emotion, excitement and sense of butterflies in my stomach when I’m about to perform…
