Peyton is a 16 year-old Musical Theatre Performer and aspires to be on Broadway. She is one of three children and is a junior at Sherwood High School in Sandy Spring, Maryland. She started singing and performing as soon as she could walk and talk. To put things in perspective, a friend can be quoted saying, “Oh, I forgot to warm up for an hour before riding in Peyton’s carpool.” Obviously, Peyton is synonymous with Musical Theatre in the lives of her friends and family.

She has been influenced by Kerry Butler, Sierra Boggess, RaminKarmiloo, Hunter Foster and Laura Bell Bundy to name a few. Although Peyton has played many dream roles including, “Audrey” in Little Shop of Horrors with Ovations Theatre, “Cosette” in Les Miserables with Ovations Theatre, “Tracey” in Hairspray with Adventure Theatre MTC and Ovations Theatre, “Belle” in Beauty and The Beast with Blake Summer Theatre, her ultimate dream is to play “Christine Daae” in Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. Peyton has been involved in a pre-professional program and takes voice lessons with Josh Konick.

Despite a busy musical theatre schedule, Peyton has two other passions. Peyton is very involved in bringing awareness and help to teens with Anxiety. Musical Theatre was an outlet that helped Peyton navigate her Anxiety and find her second home. She strives to help other school students and theatre students find ways to cope with Anxiety and plans on working in the Mental Health field using her Theatre experience and becoming a Music Therapist. Also, Peyton is trying to bring awareness to the hazards of Vaping. Her Grandmother passed away from Lung Cancer two years ago and this has pushed her to be a strong advocate against all types of tobacco use, especially in her peer group.
