Celebration of Music - Talent Search

Hi! My name is Morgan Ladyman & I’m SUPER excited to be a contestant in this competition! I’m currently a Sophomore at Missouri State University studying Speech-Language Pathology. Outside of going to class and studying, I love hanging out with friends and family, being outside, playing sports, and being a part of my Church ministry on campus! At the young age of 5, I started doing karaoke with my Grandpa Jack. Some may say my love of music began there, even though he rarely let me actually use the mic (my Grandpa LOVED to sing his oldies)! I started piano lessons before I could even touch the pedals on the ground and kept falling more and more in love with music. The summer after fifth grade, I attended a drama camp at a local high school where we put on a full musical in just 2 weeks! After that summer, I went back every single summer for 4 more years. This truly was when my love of music started. In high school, I started performing in bands around the St. Louis area. I’ve received callbacks from America’s Got Talent &The Voice. I also had the opportunity to open for Raelynn, The Swon Brothers, Cole Swindell, and Chase Rice at the Jinglefest concert in 2014. Not only has music allowed me to go on numerous adventures, I’ve also gotten to meet SO many incredible people. I truly cannot explain how blessed I am to be able to perform on stage. It’s so incredible watching people in the audience smile and enjoy performances, and I think that’s by far my favorite thing about performing. Like I said before, I’m beyond thankful for this opportunity and I cannot wait to meet all of the other people competing!
