My name is McKenzie Morales, I am 15 years old and I am a dancer. I have been dancing since I was 7 years old. Dancing is my life! I train about 20 hours a week in dance. Most of my training at the studio is in ballet. My parents put a dance room in our house so I can train at home as well. When I was young I loved dance because I got to wear pretty costumes and hang out with my friends. Through the years I have realized that it is so much more. I can tell stories through my dance. When I get off the stage, after a dance, I want to move people with my dancing. I want to be a positive role model and inspire others.
