Celebration of Music - Talent Search

London Miscisin is 11 years old, turning 12 at the end of the month of June! She lives in Garden Valley, CA with her parents, 3 younger brothers, a tiny chihuahua named "peanut", 4 kittens and 10 chickens!

London and her 3 brothers are homeschooled by their mom and they absolutely love it! London loves getting to learn about things that are truly interesting to her. She has learned everything from cake decorating, pottery, 3-D printing and computer coding, just to name a few. London learned to read at a very young age and she enjoys Language Arts most of all the school subjects. Her family owns over 1,000 books and yet she is always searching for a new book to read.

London and her family live on property, where at recess or breaktime, her and her brothers love to spend time hunting, exploring and building outdoor forts. London takes pride in their family's large garden that she helps her mother plant by seed each year. Whether it is playing in the apple orchard, running through the garden or chasing her chickens, London loves to be outside surrounded by fresh air and nature!

When London was just 18 months old, her mother enrolled her in her very 1st Ballet class. By the age of just 2 and a half, she was performing on stage in her first ever showcase. Being on stage is where London feels at home and most confident. Even at the very young age of 2, she knew that she loved the stage and couldn't wait to get another chance to perform.

It was just a few short years after that experience on stage, that one of London's Musical Theatre teachers introduced her to the song "Castle on a Cloud" from the musical production Les Miserables. London went home from class and practiced that song over and over and over. She began performing it every chance she got. It was at about that time that London's family realized that she had a gift and an extreme love for singing.

London began taking vocal lessons and once again was introduced to the ever so famous musical and movie production, "Annie". London was obsessed! From that time forward, she has been determined that someday she will perform on Broadway!

Singing and dancing now for nearly 9 years and London still has that drive and dream to someday be on Broadway. Many performances, recitals and competitions in both singing and dance later, and she still loves more than ever to perform and to be on the stage. London currently takes on average 9-10 hours of singing and dance lessons a week and yet it still seems unless she is sleeping she never stops singing! It is something that is in her soul and makes her incredibly happy.

London knows that she has an amazing family that loves her and supports her in all she does, and she cares very deeply for them. Her brothers are her dearest friends and she always looks out for them. She feels very blessed to be given a talent and a love for performing and she feels that it is her calling to share that gift with others!
