Celebration of Music - Talent Search

Hi! My name is Lindsey Vican and I am a junior at East Greenwich High School. I sing and play the piano as well as the acoustic and electric guitar. Music has always been my passion and there was never a moment in my life where I wanted to do something else. When I’m practicing, I like to watch TV, read, or hang out with my friends. My main hobby is sleeping, but I also do tennis and drama club at my school and take a tap dancing class with my friends outside of school (I’m not exactly great at it though). I wish I could say who my favorite artist is but I honestly don’t think I’d be able to choose, it’s like picking a favorite child. I’ve played with my voice teacher Bianca Sings at many places, including at B.Good, Chick-fil-a, and 10 Rocks, and I’ve sung the national anthem at a Newport Gulls baseball game. I’ve only ever written one song, and it was a mediocre tune about a fly that I wrote when I was 8, but I’ve always been fascinated by the songwriting process and would love to learn. I love animals of all kind, but my cat Monty will always hold a special place in my heart. The most important thing about me, though, is my passion for music. I am really excited to be a part of this competition!
