Celebration of Music - Talent Search

14-year-old Lain Shahboz has been singing and performing pretty much all of her life. Her parents even joke that she came out of the womb singing. She currently attends the University of Florida’s PK Yonge school where she just completed her freshman year. Lain is very active in the performing arts both in and out of school and has done many musicals as well as acted in short films, done voice-overs and been featured in music videos. Lain also occasionally sings the national anthem at sporting events and she was asked to perform it for a group of veterans it at McDill Air Force base to honor their service.

Lain also is an amazing swimmer. Since 7th grade she has been a High School State qualifier, NCSA Junior qualifier and is currently ranked in the top 10 for 14 year olds in the State of Florida for a number of her events. She also enjoys doing circus arts like trapeze, aerial silks and lyra in addition to rock climbing and ninja obstacles. You might even catch her and her family on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior where her mother was a multiseason competitor.
