Kristy Powell
Kristy is graduating this spring with a Bachelors in Business and Marketing Education from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She grew up with a love of music instilled in her at a young age as music was always a meaningful way for her family to connect. Throughout high school, she participated in Chamber Choir, an A Capella vocal ensemble called Vocal Collective, and Mainstreet Song and Dance Troupe; a travelling performance group. Throughout her years in college, she has celebrated her passion for music by singing on the worship team at her church, Wooddale, in Loring Park. This has provided opportunities to perform at various retreats, venues such as the Mall of America, and events such as Holidazzle. She is very excited to be a part of this year’s Celebration of Music Minneapolis!
