Kelvin Dukes

Kelvin Dukes is a 9th grader in the DMV area, he has been singing since the age of three. He portrayed the character Jim Hawkins in the play called Light in the library, King George the III in the Revolutionary War in 40 minutes or less. Also Jermaine in the short film called Fame vs. Buttercup. Kelvin appeared as Oliver in the play Oliver!! last year at the Laurel Mills Play House. He can also can be found on The Washington Post Throw Back Thursday’s portraying Grammy Award Nominee Christyles Bacon. Kelvin, won the 2018 Montgomery County Got Talent and has been asked to be a judge for the 2019 Montgomery County Got Talentsemi-finials. He also appeared at the NAACP ACT-SO Awards Ceremony in Detroit performing Respect by Aretha Franklin. Kelvin performed at the Montgomery County Council of PTA's Annual Celebration of Excellence and was featured on Fox 5 singing “All of Me” by John Legend. John Legend even commented on this 9th graders talent. He has performed with the Youth Choir at the 2014 Cherry Blossom Parade and the 2019 City of College Park Tribute to Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr... Kelvin is a very humble, talented student whose dedication and talent will launch a performing arts career.
