Kaitlyn Ziebell
Kaitlyn Ziebell is wrapping up 8th grade and will be entering Huntley High School in the fall. Kaitlyn has been singing and acting since she was in 4th grade, but her great love is singing. Kaitlyn has taken voice lessons, primarily in opera, since 5th grade. Kaitlyn performs primarily in school productions having had roles in A Cowboy in King Arthur’s Court, The Lion King, Jr., Pirates vs Zombies, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and The Three Musketeers, before landing the leading role as Ariel in the Little Mermaid, Jr. Kaitlyn also sings competitively and is a 2 time Granquist champion and won the SBC The Voice contest for her age division this year.
When she is not singing or acting, Kaitlyn enjoys hanging out with her friends and learning how to play the guitar and ukelele, which she took up this year. Kaitlyn also volunteers her time at historical societies and sites where she serves as a docent.
Kaitlyn’s choice for her audition video is Never Enough from The Greatest Showman. Kaitlyn chose this song because she thinks it is a very powerful and beautiful song.
