Josie Deaton
Hi guys! I’m Josie Deaton and from Amory, Mississippi. I am 16 years old, and currently a high school junior at the Mississippi School of the Arts. I study Vocal Music at MSA. I am so thankful for my teachers at school that have helped improve my voice and technique. I love learning more about my voice and making improvements every day!
I have been singing ever since I can remember, and I love showcasing the talent that God has given me and believe this is a great opportunity. My first solo performance was at my church when I was 7 years old. I sang “You Raise Me Up” and I haven’t stopped singing since!
My dad, Casey, is a very talented musician and we perform and lead worship together very often. I LOVE performing with my dad. He is my biggest fan!
One of my favorite recent performances was when I sang the National Anthem at a Nashville Sounds baseball game! It was such a fun experience for me and my family.
I’m so excited for this journey and can’t wait to see where God leads me in the future! Thanks for the support and remember to vote Josie!
