Celebration of Music - Talent Search

Jane Kristiansen is a 12-year old singer-songwriter from Cranston, Rhode Island. She is a sixth grader at Park View Middle School. Jane is an avid theatre performer involved in multiple school and local theatre groups. She has played Nala in The Lion King, Ladybug in James and the Giant Peach, and Paulette in Legally Blonde. Most recently she starred as Annie in a professional production in Fall River, Massachusetts. Jane plays multiple instruments--the guitar, the ukulele, the cello, the dulcimer, and the melodica, and has just started learning the bass guitar. Her instrument of choice, however, is the piano. Jane plays keys in two rock bands at the You Rock School of Music, one with her brother, Sam, on the drums. Aside from music, Jane is a lacrosse player for the Cranston Phoenix, and played on the 2017 state championship team. She is an honor roll student and a member of the student council, and has a tight-knit group of friends with whom she loves to spend her free time. That is, when she’s not sitting at her piano at home, writing another song. Jane is so very loved by her mom, Sarah, her dad, TK, and her big brother, Sam.
