Hadley Pearson

I'm just a small-town girl, living in a dancing world! My name is Hadley Pearson, I am from Franklin Tennessee and my passion is experiencing life through dance. What I love about dance is that it is a language that stretches farther than words and across all nations. It has taught me true happiness, friendship, faith, encouragement, perseverance, passion, and hard work. In my 11 years in this dance world, it has taught me to face my fears, it’s taken me to places I’ve never been, encouraged me, taken me to my highest of highs, and also knocked me down. It has picked me up, made me cry, made me smile, made me weak, and made me strong. But ultimately it brings joy to my life. It has helped me realize my purpose in life and that is to bring people joy, kindness, support, friendship, and love no matter who they are or where they come from, through dance. The beauty that I have seen through the bond of dance between family, friends, teachers, and strangers is unlike a bond of any other. It has shown me the importance of faith, the unconditional love of family, and the unwavering support of friendship.

I believe that no matter what size stage you are on, you have been given a platform that allows to you reach across boundaries and re-imagine the human experience through movement. Dance shows love to all people, expresses the words we cannot find to say and lets us go on a journey through movement.

In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and friends, shop and spend time with my dogs, Scooter and, Peanut. I love to choreograph and was fortunate enough to be asked to choreograph for the musical “Footloose”, in Springfieldlast summer, and am presently choreographing for “Little Shop of Horrors” here in Nashville this summer. I am inspired by the people that have the same deeply rooted passion as I do. Those that can dance like Michael Jackson, sing like Beyoncé, and tell stories like my grandpa. The people who don’t take life too seriously, that show love like my brother Hayden and my sister Haley, who can coach and motivate like my parents, and who can create and choreograph like my coaches, Marissa and Justin Milele, and people who love to laugh, even sometimes at themselves.

In the future, I hope I can be a role model for those around me young and old. I hope no matter where I am or who I’m with, I dance! I don’t want to ever stop learning from those who are passionate and inspiring, no matter their age. I want to forever show everyone kindness, my love for dance, and my love for all people.
