Eliana Cortes

Eliana Cortes loves music and singing is her passion! At only 4 years of age, Eliana began voice lessons. By age 5 she began singing in public. At first it was only for family events, but soon after her school and community began to invite her. Audiences were always amazed how such a strong voice could come from such a little body. Although Eliana loves many genres of music, she has learned that her passion for singing is best expressed through Mexican folk songs. Eliana was born and raised in the US, however, she is proud of her Mexican culture and traditions and is happy to celebrate these through her love for singing. Eliana has sang the National Anthem for the Patterson Relay for Life, The Patterson Apricot Fiesta, the Stanislaus County Fair, and multiple school graduation ceremonies. She has also been honored to sing at the Modesto Nuts Baseball game, the Fiestas Patrias Patterson Festival, Chabot College Talent Show, and the Chula Vista State of the District opening for Councilmember John McCann. Eliana was awarded 1st place for her rendition of Let it Go, from the Disney movie Frozen by Patterson’s Got Talent in 2014. In 2017, Eliana was named a finalist in San Diego’s So You Think You Have Talent and Chula Vista’s Eastlake’s Got Talent. Outside of singing, Eliana loves to dance. She has studied ballet, tap, hip hop, and Ballet Folklorico. Her hobbies include hanging out at the beach, dancing, making slime, and hanging out with her family and friends.
