Celebration of Music - Talent Search

Hello, my name is Cymone Annise Tyson. I am a 19 year old female and I am from a small town called Madera, California. I have always been the type of girl who loves art, sports, and even children. I am well known in my town for sports and arts. I used to play Varsity Volleyball 3 out of 4 years of highschool. I also would sing the National Anthem at the home games. I have always been involved in the community. I am the President of my towns NAACP. I was President of my high school’s BSU. I was always making sure I was involved in some way. I always loved singing and acting, but my father wanted me to pick a career that was realistic enough. I didn’t start actually acting until about age 14, which is when I started high school. I auditioned for shows left and right, but I didn’t actually receive a role until my Sophomore year of high school. I did 5 shows my entire 4 years of high school, 3 musicals and 2 plays. I am currently looking for acting jobs still outside of high school. I have never been the type to party or go out really. I stay to myself and just work and go to school. I do love concerts and planning events and spending time with friends and loved ones. I have had a lot of personal issues that still haunt me till this day, but acting and singing is a way i can express how I feel. I am happy that the Celebration of music can help me with that. I have a huge love for little kids. I love to babysit everyone’s kids haha. I’m always with my baby cousin and my aunt they are so funny and cute. I recently started hanging out with my siblings a lot more so we have gotten closer I feel like. We are all 5 years apart too. I love traveling, especially for acting jobs. I have been to Los Angeles like 5 times in the last 2 weeks. My goal is to get to New York at least once this year. I want to see Time Square and go to a Broadway show. It is a hard career that I chose because you do need money and it is very competitive, but I’m never going to stop chasing after this dream. I work with the School District working with TK and Kindergarden. I love kids and I think they are the cutest little things. My goal is to become a singer and land a huge role in a movie and or TV series one day. Singing is the number one thing I have always been passionate about so I’m in it to win it.
