Connor Raines
Connor is 12 years old. Connor started taking guitar lessons with Jimi Goare at age 5. About age 8 he started adding vocals while he was playing guitar. When he was 9, he started playing and singing with a local youth band the Minor Blues Youth Band, playing at various events. He also, currently plays around town jumping in with area musicians at several different venues.
Connor is the 2nd place winner of the 2019 Ohio Has Talent in Van Wert, Ohio, 1st place in vocals & guitar playing for the North American Country Music Association in Columbus, Ohio and 3rd place winner of the 2019 Central Ohio Singing Competition and also winning the “People’s Choice” award in Columbus, Ohio.
Connor has an active life, while loving singing and playing music he is also a member of his school’s football and basketball team. He runs in several area 5k, 4 milers and Tri-Athlons. Enjoys camping, boating and several water sports.
