Celebration of Music - Talent Search

I am Christian Bouchillon, I am 15 years old. I live in Orchard Lake Mi. I go to University of Detroit Jesuit and I am a Freshman. I have been singing ever since I can remember, probably @ the age of 4. My mom would always play Christian music and I would always sing to it .My mom would always put the video in front of me and ask me to sing and record me. I remember I had a microphone/Tape recorder and I used to sing with it all the time. I also have twin brothers, when we were young, we used to play “Band” together in our basement. I would be the lead singer my brothers were the band. We would sing Toby MAC and Justin Bieber. We would even change into different outfits while we did our “Band” and sell tickets to my family and put on concerts !! My first performance was when I was 5 at my church. It was a Christmas production, I sang “Happy Birthday Jesus” with an orchestra for over 5 thousand people, and 12 performances. I absolutely loved it. I think that is when my parents really knew I had the talent.

I started taking piano when I was 4 1/2 years old. I started to sing along while I played the piano and realized I was pretty good. I have entered “Fine Arts” competitions thru my church over the last 6 years and won Merritt /1st place 3 different years.

When I was 7 Years old, I sang the national anthem at a Detroit Tigers Baseball game. Last year I sang the National Anthem for the RedWings /North Carolina Hurricanes hockey game. I have had the privilege of singing the National Anthem for the last 9 years at many different sporting events. I also have played the piano and sang in my Church youth groups worship band. I also Love to swim. I am an avid competitive swimmer and have been swimming since the age of 5. I swim all year round and just recently got a national cut in the 100-yard back stroke. With homework, swimming and piano/voice lessons my schedule is very busy. When I have time, I enjoy hanging with my friends and family.
