Celebration of Music (www.celebrationofmusic.com) is a talent search that showcases the best young musical talent across America. Singers, musicians, bands, and dancers between the ages of 4 and 25 are all encouraged to enter in their city by submitting an audition tape. This search showcases young talent as they are to be celebrated within a safe and encouraging environment that brings out passion and individuality from within. We offer an open forum for different youth age groups, musical genres, and social environments from all facets of lifestyle; free from ridicule, the pressure of TV ratings and drama.

Hosted by international superstar Ethan Bortnick, the Celebration of Music concept was inspired by his desire to give young musicians the same opportunities PBS afforded him.

Ethan began his career at the age of 6 as a singer/songwriter and pianist. By 9 he was performing around the globe and has been recognized by the Guinness World Records as "The World's Youngest Solo Musician to Head-line His Own Concert Tour." He has since raised over $50,000,000 for charities worldwide. Ethan has shared the stage with some of music's biggest names (https://ethanbortnick.com/bio), starred in his own feature film, graced the cover of Esquire Magazine, been a guest on Oprah and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno to name a few, and has a highly successful TV show. Today, at only 18 years old, Ethan is one of the top artists on PBS Television and is inspiring millions of kids and young adults through television, live concerts and music events.

"I am honored that I was given the opportunity by PBS television stations across the country to share my music with millions and now with this television program and national tour, I hope that we can find other young musicians and artists and give them a platform to share their talent," - Ethan.

Celebration of Music contestants can showcase their talents through an array of platforms including broadcast television, the live audition tour, full-day festivals, or an Ethan Bortnick concert, all culminating in a national T.V. show.

Performers can submit via the C.O.M. website (www.celebrationofmusic.com). If chosen, finalists will get to perform one song in the live Celebration of Music concert tour kicking off in April 2019 and will compete for a spot on our national show in Los Angeles. In addition to the televised national show, the audition tour will be televised in a select number of cities and the winner will have the opportunity to perform live at an Ethan Bortnick concert.

Being a contestant on the show also means your talent will be showcased in front of music industry partners, well-known managers, and record label executives. Not only is our national show televised and distributed to PBS stations across the country, but it will feature industry veterans, music directors, producers, influencers, and choreographers.

We can't wait to see all the incredible talent!
