Cashmir Khawaja

Cashmir began her singing career at the age of 9 in musical theatre. Since then she’s gone on to perform in countless community theatre productions. For years she received training at Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) where she had the opportunity to perform with the Houston Symphony, Hobby Center, Miller Outdoor Theatre, and with American Idol contestant Vonzell. When she wasn’t at TUTS, she was busy studying with several private coaches including Jeannie Bryant, Jo Ellen Hubert, and most recently Eric Brunner. As a teenager, Cashmir was active in vocal competitions where she consistently placed in the top finalists. More recently, Cashmir has made the transition from musical theatre to film. She’s had the opportunity to shoot a variety of films in cities throughout Texas. In October of 2018, Cashmir was cast to sing in a film as a country singer! As college approaches, Cashmir will likely pursue a degree in Radio/Film/TV at the University of Texas (Austin). Combining her love of voice and film, she hopes to pursue a career in entertainment.
