Celebration of Music - Talent Search

Ben is an actor who has been doing theatre for three years now. He is a Junior, and will attend high school at Lakeland Christian Academy, in the fall.

Ben started acting in middle school. His director, Mrs. Conduff, set the bar high, and made acting fun. When Ben started high school, he found The Actors Conservatory Theatre (The ACT) in Lewisville, Tx. The ACT is a non-profit children’s theatre with a huge passion for children and theatre. It is there he found his passion for singing. In the last year, Ben has performed in 6 musicals, and one show. His current role is Maurice in Beauty and the Beast the musical. He will be performing in Frozen the musical in the fall and is very excited about it.

Ben comes from a huge supportive family which include his parents, sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also has two dogs which he loves very much.

In his spare time, Ben does spray paint art. He has enjoyed this since he saw a New York street artist do it. He also enjoys hanging out with his friends, skateboarding and he likes to longboard around his neighborhood. He loves collecting hoodies and wears them as much as he can.

Ben loves Broadway and seeing shows. His favorite place is New York City. He loves how much there is to see, and how you can never run out of things to do. He started his love for musicals with Hamilton. He would listen to the album non-stop for hours on end. Another one of his top favorites is Dear Evan Hansen, and his favorite singer is Ben Platt.

When Ben grows up, he wants to do theatre and singing as a career. Ben is passionate about performing, and entertaining.
