Anne Frances Atkinson
Anne Frances Atkinson is an 11-year-old honors student from Tupelo, Mississippi, the birthplace of Elvis Presley. She is a fifth-grader at Lawhon Elementary where Elvis went to school as a boy.
Anne Frances has been singing in the children’s choir at church since she was 3-years-old and has been a member of her school’s Lawhon Lyrics choir for three years. She has enjoyed having solo parts in both and was chosen to compete vocally in Tupelo’s Singing with the King contest.
In addition to school and church musicals, Anne Frances has been in six community theater productions, some of which include The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, Shrek, Jr., and The Lion King, Jr. Her favorite role so far has been playing the spunky misfit Gladys Herdman in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
Anne Frances lives with her parents, her three siblings, and her dog Kira. When she is not going to school, church, or play practice, she enjoys riding her bicycle, eating Crispix out of the box, listening to K-pop and the Hamilton soundtrack, and entertaining her family. Her dream trip would be to travel to New York City to see some Broadway musicals.
