Alicia Chu is a singer, ballet dancer, and actress. She performed at the American Protege Summer Gala Concert at the Isaac Stern Auditorium of Carnegie Hall in June of 2019. Alicia has been awarded 1st place in the American Protege Vocal Competi-tion 2019, 1st Place in the American Protege Romantic Music Competition 2018 and 1st Place in the AFAF Golden Voice International Competition 2017. She had her first vocal recital in Maryland at the age of 11. She was also honorably invited to perform at various gala concerts in Washington DC, Baltimore and Delaware in the past few years.
Alicia is also an excellent broadway singer. In 6th grade, she was a narrator in her school's production of Aladdin Jr.. In 7th grade, she played the lead role of Annie in her middle school musical Annie Jr.
Furthermore, Alicia is an outstanding ballet dancer. She started dancing at the age of two and has participated in Nutcracker for two years. She has also competed in YAGP as a ballet dancer for two years.
In addition, Alicia has achieved ABRSM Grade 7 in piano with distinction, and has performed at Carnegie Hall as a piano or a vocal competition winner seven times. She won the Pre-Teen Honorable Mention Actress of the Year at IMTA 2017. Alicia has a strong passion of serving the community and sharing the beauty of music to people. She has been performing in many community festivals and senior centers as a singer, dancer and pianist for many years.
