Celebration of Music - Talent Search

Alexis Bentinganan is an 8th grader at Lincoln Park Academy in Fort Pierce, FL and has been performing since the age of 3. She was encouraged by her family to pursue her love for singing, dancing and acting at an early age and has appeared in musical theater shows throughout Florida as well as in New York. She considers her roles as Ngana in “South Pacific” and Yorg in “Giants In The Sky” as her most meaningful and impactful performance experiences.

Alexis is also a proud member of Artists 4 A Cause (A4AC), a nonprofit organization that supports artists who serve community needs. She firmly believes in their core principle of visual and performing artists utilizing their talents for community improvement and stimulating culture while addressing critical needs of the communities. When she is not performing, she loves being with her family and friends and spending the day swimming at the pool or the beach. She also counts science and math as her favorite subjects in school. Lastly, Alexis is a person living with Type-1 Diabetes since the age of 7. She has been an avid spokesperson and guest performer for Insulet, Corp. and Omnipod (a wireless, waterproof insulin pump that she herself wears) for over 4 years at various events across the United States. Through her love for music and the arts, Alexis would like to inspire others to believe that with passion, discipline and hard work nothing can hold them back from obtaining their dreams!
