Coming from a family of non musicians, Sesay found inspirations from Church, where he started playing the Djembe, an African drum at the age of 5 in his hometown, Sierra Leone.
His unlimited passion and talent for music lead him to various paths. From being on American Idol to opening for a touring band and now doing music full time.

There he learned the traits of the industry along with music production. Getting ready to release his second EP you can find him on music streaming outlets.
When he is not performing for an audience, he is a youth worker inspiring students about kindness, courage, and respect through a nonprofit organization called, Youth Frontiers. “As a youth worker I get to inspire kids through my music. It’s truly empowering for me and them. As cliche as it might sound, I truly believe music can heal the world.”
Have you ever seen anyone play drums with their guitar? Then you need to see Sesay.
“When I first moved to the united states I knew I had to learn the guitar. So I taught myself how to play but I knew that wasn’t enough. So one day I began drumming on my guitar. I quickly realized it was more of a drum than a guitar for me.”
