Celebration of Music - Talent Search

The Kid Brothers is a group of 3 young men with warm smiles, big hearts & even bigger dreams. The Kid Brothers started with Sean Andrew Bleu, who was 6 years old (guitar) & his brother Eddie Jr, who was 9 years old (vocals).

They have been playing guitar and singing for close to two years. Their passion for making music has influenced many of their immediate friends and family to pursue their own musical ambitions. Their influence has been so great that our neighbor Rodrick Wordlow, who is 12 yrs. old, has now joined the band as our Drummer. With no prior training or lessons, Rodricks' passion, desire & drive have exceeded everyone's expectations of him and we couldn’t be any happier that he is now the third member of The Kid Brothers.

Rodrick has always been intrigued by musical instruments. His father plays the keyboard & drums. Moving to Texas was a tough transition, however becoming friends with Sean Andrew Bleu & Eddie Jr. made a huge impact on his own desires of becoming a musician.

The Kid Brothers enjoy playing music of all genres. They uniquely have done cover songs of The Beatles, Ed Sheeran, Lenny Kravitz, Ritchie Valens and Red Hot Chili Peppers to name a few.

One of The Kid Brothers mottoes is “to perform anywhere and everywhere you can" which has led them to open mic nights in the Dallas/Ft Worth area. They also take advantage of the small town feeling our city has and they often perform in our historical downtown.

They love to frequent establishments such as Guitar Center & Sam Ash. They usually spend a few hours there each visit. Surprisingly, their inquisitiveness doesn’t seem to bore or bother the wonderful employees of these establishments. Their light-hearted personalities are often enjoyed by adults who frequently have extended conversations with them and engage in their music.

When Sean Andrew Bleu & Eddie Jr. aren’t playing music, they’re perfecting their second love which is acting. They have had supporting roles on a few film projects and were also on a TV series. They are currently preparing for other film projects as well. Both boys read monologue books & success books daily to be able to perfect their crafts. One of their influencers is Caleb Maddix, who is a 15 yr. old CEO of a movement called Summa Success.

One of the long-term goals The Kid Brothers have is to be able to provide free or low-cost music lessons to the less fortunate youth. Having struggled themselves to be able to afford proper training, left them to make due with the little professional training they had & resort to YouTube daily for self-taught lessons.

They were sponsored guitar lessons by Jose Luis Conde III, of Las Vegas. Jose Luis was a major influencer to Sean & Eddie and believed in their natural talents. He believed in them so much he would commute over 2 hours to provide 2 hr. lessons, 3 times a week.

Recently, The Kid Brothers were blessed to receive group drum lessons, sponsored by Chris Lewis of The Reborn Generation. For these same reasons is why they are so passionate about attaining this goal.

Another long-term goal is to have their own merchandise line with kid-friendly inspirational quotes so that every kid can stay positive & know that with hard work, persistence & dedication they too can follow their dreams into a reality.

The Kid Brothers believe it’s in their destiny to have been chosen to participate in Celebration of Music and would be honored to receive your vote.
