Celebration of Music - Talent Search

Shane Boucher lives in Sutton, NH with his mom, dad, brother –Tanner, dog-Abby and is a sophomore at Kearsarge Regional High School. He studies ballet, tap, and voice at Kearsarge Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Warner. He has performed at the Palace Theatre in Manchester in their professional productions and in the Teen Company. Shane has been spending his summers at the New London Barn Playhouse since he was 10 years old starting in the youth camps. He has continued in the Barns Junior Intern program for the past 3 years and been on the main stage twice, most recently in On Golden Pond as Billy Ray Jr. Theater credits at the Palace Theatre include: Artful Dodger, Oliver; Michael, Billy Elliot; Peter Cratchit, A Christmas Carol; Beadle, Sweeney Todd (Teen Co.); Link, Hairspray (PYT). His talent brought him to Boston to Wheelock Family Theatre where he reprised his role of Michael in Billy Elliot and as understudy for Billy he got to play the lead role for 3 shows. Shane has had the pleasure of performing in NYC with Retter Entertainment in Jingle Jam and in Maine for the Big Maine Event. He was also nominated for an IRNE (Independent Reviewers of New England) Award as "Promising Young Performer" in Billy Elliot at Wheelock Family Theater. In his spare time he works at Mt. Sunapee Learning Center teaching 4-6 yr olds how to ski!
