Saige Brumbaugh
Saige is 9 years old and a student at Lake Street Elementary school in Crown Point, Indiana. Her love for singing began at a very early age and she performed on stage for the first time at 6 years old. Soon she was competing in various talent shows, including the 12th annual Hoosier STAR statewide vocal competition, where she was named runner up. This past December, she was asked to perform Ava Maria at the Holiday at the Pops concert where she was accompanied by the incredible La Porte County Symphony Orchestra.
In her free time, you will find Saige keeping herself busy with dance classes at Origins Dance Academy, writing songs and listening to music. She has a long list of favorite artists, with Carly Simon, John Denver, Dolly Parton, Cass Elliot and Luciano Pavarotti making her top 10. However, her true passion lies with classical music as she aspires to become an opera singer one day just like her idol, Australian soprano, Mirusia Louwerse. Everyday she moves a bit closer to her dream as she challenges herself by learning arias such as O Mio Babbino Caro and Nessum Dorma. She is thrilled and honored to be a finalist for Celebration of Music!
