Riley Rapp
Hello, my name is Riley McKinley Rapp. I am a 16-year-old sophomore at East Grand Rapids High school where I enjoy participating in various activities such as Varsity Voices, lacrosse and musicals. I also enjoy taking acting and singing lessons at the Civic Theater and private vocal lessons. I appreciate the opportunity to perform wherever possible. When I am on stage or singing for others is when I feel the most alive and energized. I have loved to sing ever since I could speak and even before that my mom said I was always humming. Outside of these groups I love spending time with my friends and family. Together we enjoy photography, singing, recording videos, staying fit and just laughing together. One of my greatest loves after music is traveling because it is important to me to see and do new things while learning from other people. This summer I will be spending two weeks in Thailand living with local families, hiking, kayaking, cooking and soaking up the culture. Traveling also exposes me to other types of music making my world view and love of the arts so much bigger. Music has been a huge part of my life, it makes me happy and I plan on continuing to pursue a life of music! My greatest dream is to bring singing and travel together, performing in various parts of the country and world. When I bring those loves together there will be no stopping me!
