Olivia Charest

Olivia is an 8-year old and a second grader at Pulaski Elementary school in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Although she has never had any formal voice instruction, Olivia has been performing since before she can even remember. Her first public performance was at the age of 3 with The Burt Wood School of Performing Arts where she sang “Let it Go” from Disney’s Frozen. She is currently a student at Illusions Academy of Dance in New Bedford where she has studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Irish Step Dancing and Musical Theatre since she was two and a half years old. She has danced in many recitals and performed in productions of “Lion King Jr.” and “Shrek Jr.” where she played the role of “Young Fiona” beautifully. Olivia also participates in the Miss New Bedford Princess Program and she is even learning to play the guitar. When she is not performing, which is extremely rare, Olivia enjoys doing arts-and-crafts of all kinds, skiing and spending time with her family and friends. Olivia hopes to one day be a professional singer/actress or to teach music. Olivia is extremely excited and thankful to have this opportunity to perform and showcase her talent at the Celebration of Music.
