Celebration of Music - Talent Search

Hi, my name is Megan Estell and I am 12 years old. I live in Columbus Ohio and go to Gahanna Middle School. My favorite things to do are sing, dance and act. In my free time I like to hang out with my friends and family, they mean the world to me and I love them so much. Along with singing and dancing I enjoy reading. I found my passion for reading with the Harry Potter Series. I am currently reading The Selection Series and am on the last book. I can’t wait to find out how it ends.

I love music and my favorite artists are Sabrina Carpenter and Shawn Mendes. My favorite song right now is In My Blood by Shawn Mendes. My favorite movie is The Greatest Showman because I like the songs, the story line and the actors in the movie.

I have played soccer, competed in competitive cheer for 5 years and played lacrosse for 2 years. I have been taking singing lessons at Michelle Tuesday Music Studio for 3 years. I have also take acting lessons there. Currently I am on a competitive dance team with Jaz Dance and More Studio. I compete is jazz, production and musical theatre and I also take ballet classes. Musical theatre is my favorite because I get to combine dancing and acting. I hope to get into either Show Choir or the theatre when I get to high school.

The reason I entered this contest is because I love to sing and ever since I was little it has always been my dream to be a professional singer and/or actor. I would love to win because it will mean that I make people happy by singing and that they like to hear me do the thing I love doing so much.
