Mak
Mak is 13 years old and is from Springfield, NH. She has always had a compelling need to make music in any way she could find. She was diagnosed with Asperger’s Disorder when she was 6, which we believe is what gives her such a keen ear for music. She’s been writing her own music since she was 8 and has recorded several of her more than 30 original songs with Bob Desmarais at NHTunes in Manchester, NH. She has independently released three digital singles and a 5 song digital EP of her original music so far.
Mak was raised in a household full of a variety of music genres, including jazz, rock, alternative, classical, indie, and musical theater. She is a self-taught piano and ukulele player. She takes weekly voice lessons with Michelle Gosnell at Kearsarge Conservatory for Performing Arts in Warner, NH in order to hone her craft and learn new techniques. She continues to be inspired and write music on a regular basis.
