Maizie Bailey
Hi, I’m Maizie Bailey from Crestwood, Kentucky, and I will be an 8th grader at South Oldham Middle School this year. I am 12 years old, and I’ve been dancing since I was 3. I was born in Minnesota, and I moved to Kentucky at age 5. I’ve been dancing competitively on the All Star Teams at the Vision Dance Center since I was 6 years old. I love dancing on teams with my friends, and we’ve won several National Titles together in competitions at Disneyworld. I also dance as a soloist and have won a number of solo titles and convention scholarships. When I’m not dancing, you’ll find me doing something creative – from cooking, to drawing, to writing, to painting, to playing Minecraft with my best friends. I’m not happy unless I’m making a mess with some type of artistic craft – at least that’s how my mom sees it! I LOVE animals, and if it were up to me, we’d have a whole ark-ful of animals at my house. In reality, my mom and dad have limited me to two cats!
