Lucy Blumling is a 13-year-old from Orange County, California who attends 9th grade at Orange County School of the Arts. Singing has always been second nature to Lucy even at a very young age. Because her mom was a dance teacher, she exposed Lucy to all aspects of music, from musical theatre, to piano, to dance. In addition to singing, Lucy plays the piano, tap dances and does musical theatre. Recently, Lucy learned how to incorporate singing and piano by accompanying herself. Some of her favorites songs that she accompanies herself include “Secrets” by One Republic and “Elastic Heart” by Sia. Outside of music, Lucy enjoys playing soccer, tennis, golf and is part of the Acting Conservatory at her school. She has been in multiple productions at her school, some of her favorite roles include Edith Liddell (The Alice Project), Amy (Original One Acts created by students) and Rebecca Gibbs (Our Town). Lucy is very excited for this amazing opportunity to perform and grow as an artist.
