Lily Stockwell

LILY STOCKWELL is 13 years old, and an 8th grader at Walsh Intermediate School in Branford, CT, where she is a member of the National Junior Honor Society. When she’s not studying or doing homework, you can usually find her singing along to anything she’s listening to. She found her voice when she was 7 years old, singing with her piano teacher. Lily has sung from places as small as her living room, to as large as The Apollo Theater in New York City! She was a member of the United Girls’ Choir for several years, and has also been invited to perform with a local CT band, ‘Mame and Company’, since she was 8 years old. Lily wrote her first original song, ‘Colder’, when she was 13, and she looks forward to writing more music over the summer. Lily loves to entertain her family and friends by playing songs on her ukulele. Recently, she has also started taking dance and piano classes at the Neighborhood Music School in New Haven, CT. In addition to singing, Lily also enjoys musical theater. She’s had the privilege of performing many fun roles including, Annie in ‘Annie’, Ursula in ‘The Little Mermaid’, Aunt Sponge in ‘James and the Giant Peach’, and the Emerald City Guard in 'The Wizard of Oz’.

In her spare time, Lily loves to play volleyball - she plays for Walsh Intermediate School and CT Juniors, and she hopes to make the high school team at Lauralton Hall in Milford, CT, where she’ll be attending in the fall. Lily also enjoys giving back to her community and her church by participating in charitable events. Last but not least, she loves spending time with her family, friends, and her dog, Curly.
