Leah Rose
Leah Rose is a 14 year old singer / songwriter. She has been singing before she could speak. Leah has lent her voice to numerous projects including Disney, Lalaloopsy, Oxford Press, and many others. At age 7, she performed with the Brooklyn Philharmonic. Favorite role was playing Jane Banks in Mary Poppins, because she got to fly on stage.
Leah's greatest musical achievement to date has been writing and recording her first two original songs, 'Not Gonna Wait' and 'Broken', currently available on SoundCloud. Favorite singers include Lady Gaga, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift, Christina Aguilera, Ariana Grande, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. She is currently learning to play piano and guitar, as well as ukulele. Leah's voice is very dynamic and she already has a whistle register.
Although Leah hopes to one day win a Grammy, she also believes that it is extremely important to give back. She has volunteered at soup kitchens, pet shelter, and as the Vice President of her elementary school, Leah helped organize a drive which resulted in a donation of over $10,000 to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. She is a proud member of both the Arista and Archon honor societies. Leah believed that arts education is crucial for child development and plans to open up a performing arts center for underprivileged kids (Leah's Little Rosebuds Center), which will make art and music accessible to children from all walks of life.
