Kori Leggett
Since she could remember, she has been singing. Kori Leggett (23), was born and raised in Slidell, La. Daughter of Corey and Tynishia Leggett. Kori was often considered very shy in school, but at home, singing brought their entire family together. Singing was always something Kori wanted to pursue, but she recently felt confirmation when she started singing at events around the city of Slidell. Dad, Mom, and brother, Jordan Leggett, are never too far behind, with her background vocals. She was recently invited to sing “The National Anthem” at the Pelicans vs. 76ers game in 2017, and that’s when it became even more clear. Kori has a timeless sound, with a modern day twist. She is inspired by Alicia Keys, and Anita Baker. She has her parents to thank for her great taste in music. On February 18, 2018, Kori released her very first single “You Are”. Currently streaming on Tidal, Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, Pandora, Google Play, and a few other platforms. She is excited to be living in her dream, and can’t wait to share more of her music with the world.
