Khalil Williams

Khalil Williams is an 18 year old graduate of Gregori High School, Modesto, California, class of 2017. He is a drummer, saxophonist (baritone, tenor, alto soprano), pianist and actor. Since grade school, Khalil has been influenced and instructed by various professional musicians of Stanislaus County. Summer Music Camps at the University of the Pacific and Stanislaus State University are some venues that helped Khalil hone his craft.

His appetite for jazz genres ranges from the roaring 1920’s-30’s juke-joint/speakeasy swing, through the emotion and soul of 21st century pop music. On saxophone alone, Khalil has placed first in multiple school talent shows and in 2013 was voted “Audience Favorite Performer” in Modesto’s Valley Talent Project (“ Valley’s Got Talent ”) . In 2016, Khalil was privileged to attend the Berklee College of Music’s Five Week Summer Program in Boston, Massachusetts.

Eager to develop his gift, Khalil plans to major in music production at Berklee. He currently studies jazz at San Joaquin Delta College. In his element, this humble student glorifies God and embraces the community through music.
