Celebration of Music - Talent Search

Queta Cavalier is a native of New Orleans, LA. While being in a city centered by music she found herself blessed to be surrounded by it in every aspect of her life. She was raised to sing at the table, harmonize on car rides and laugh when she sang off key. When asked what word best defined her she answered, “Passionate. There are so few things I find to be true in this world, but the two things I hold true to are my faith in Jesus Christ and my love for music. I desire to pursue these with all my heart.” In high school she attended New Orleans Center for Creative Arts for vocal music. It was at NOCCA that she was able to discover a passion that was no longer a hobby, but a career path, opening her eyes to a wide world of music. Now twenty years old and studying Music Education in Voice at Mississippi College in Clinton, MS. Despite the academic demands of being a full-time college student, she still finds time to perform in school musicals and is an active member of the MC Singers. Queta enjoys singing in choirs and performing foreign rep., but it is the opportunity to sing jazz that gives her the greatest joy. She hopes to use music as an inspiration to others, and in turn they see the Power of Music! Hope you Enjoy!
