Emma Mclelland
Emma Mclelland is in fifth grade and from Cleveland, Ohio. Emma has been performing ever since she was five years old and has been singing, acting and dancing ever since. Emma hopes to pursue a career in music or as an actress. Emma recently was honored to receive the Cleveland Critics Circle award for "Rising Star" for her performance in Jane Eyre January,2019.
Emma has appeared in numerous productions in the Greater Cleveland area. Some of Emma’s favorite roles include: Young Jane in Cleveland Musical Theatre's World Premiere of Jane Eyre, Young Scrooge in Great Lakes Theatre’s A Christmas Carol, Annie in Annie Junior, Young Nala in The Lion King Junior and many more. Emma has taken the stage well over one hundred times and is thrilled for the opportunity to entertain! Emma was also a lead vocalist in an all kids rock band for two years performing music by Kelly Clarkson, Adele, Fall Out Boy, Pat Benatar and more. Emma has recently attended the Junior National Theatre Competition in Atlanta where her team received an award for Best in Music for their production of Finnian's Rainbow. Emma has had extensive training in acting and vocal performance.
Emma hopes to get the chance to perform alongside Ethan Bortnick and appreciates the opportunity that he has created for young performers to showcase their talents.
