After practicing for hours, Mom asked if it was hard for me to put down my new Maton guitar. I said, “It’s not that it’s too hard, it’s just that I can’t”. That’s how much music is a part of me. I began playing violin at an early age and later wanted to learn guitar. When buying my first guitar, the salesman said, “Collin, you know a guitar is a better chick magnet than a violin.” I don’t know about that but it is truly my passion. Now, age 20, I am constantly influenced by guitar greats like Jack Pearson, Tommy Emmanuel, Emil Ernebro, Sungha Jung and the list goes on!
