Celebration of Music - Talent Search

Cheryl Kuo is a 17 year old actress who resides in California. When she was seven years old, she discovered her passion for acting after watching a Jackie Chan movie. She auditioned for her first musical in middle school (Seussical Jr.) and landed the lead role of Mayzie, and found a passion for singing through that show. Since then Cheryl has performed in plenty of theatre productions and venues, such as Mary Poppins (Jane), Godspell (Lindsay), Elf the Musical Jr. (Jovie), and in places such as the Dickens Street Faire and The Rivercats baseball game. Cheryl has also competed in numerous competitions such as Teens Create Dreams, Lenaea Theatre Festival, Rita Moreno Awards, AMTC SHINE(won best overall teen actress), and several others. She is also currently signed with a talent agency in San Francisco.

Besides acting and singing, Cheryl learns martial arts, plays piano, and is very involved in her church. She would like to thank God for giving her these talents. She would also like to thank her parents, and all her friends and family for all their support.
