Celebration of Music - Talent Search

My name is Catherine Grace Taylor, but I go by Catie Grace. I just turned 16 years old. I live in Clinton Township, Michigan. I am the youngest child in my family and the only girl. I have twin brothers. My family is my biggest support system. They are always by my side. I am in the 10th grade at Chippewa Valley High School. I am very involved with extracurricular activities at school. I am a cheerleader. I am involved in my high school musicals and in the Key Club. I just recently performed in my school’s talent show. In February, I performed for the Chippewa Valley District Idol show. School is very important to me. I work very hard at getting good grades. I have enjoyed singing and acting since Kindergarten. I was in a play every year at school. I started to realize I could sing when I joined the 4th grade choir. From that time on, I haven’t stopped singing. Singing makes me feel happy. I also attend Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in the Summer. This summer will be 5th year attending. I love going to Blue Lake, not only do I learn about how to improve my singing, I met new people from around the world. I have built friendships with other campers. We keep in touch through mail. I know writing letters is a thing of the past, but it really is a fun to keep in touch. I hope to be on Broadway one day. I will be performing a song from the movie The Greatest Showman, titled A Million Dreams. I hope you enjoy watching my performance as much as I did making it. Thank you all and have a great day.
