Cathryn Flores is a 19 -year-old recording artist, songwriter, and musician from the San Francisco Bay Area. In addition to being a vocalist, she also plays the piano, acoustic and electric guitar. She began her musical career at the age of 10 by performing in local musical theater productions, where she participated in rigorous dance, acting, and singing training. In 2017, Cathryn was presented with the opportunity to sing the national anthem prior to Grammy award winning singer/songwriter John Mayer’s concert at the California Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles, CA. The following year, in 2018, she was also chosen to sing the national anthem before Pitbull’s concert. Other performance appearances include the Oakland Athletics, South Bay Teen Idol, and the California State Rodeo.

Cathryn is a sophomore in college studying English and Writing. She is currently the musical producer/director for Merced ShakespeareFest’s production of Shakespeare’s play Richard II.Cathryn is working on releasing her second original single and EP by January 2020.
