Bo Aleman and Chad Whitten
Chad and I (Bo) met at a homeless mission in New Orleans where we had volunteered to play music for the day. We had an instant musical connection and a friendship followed shortly. When we went to a punk rock show in the Hey! Cafe we had our band name, My Heart Might Explode. A few weeks down the road we started to hang out and make music. Within 3 days stuck in Chad’s bedroom, with a lot of guitar gear and Garage Band, we had a 5 song EP. Knowing we had some really good tunes on our hands we set out looking for a rhythm section. When I went to Best Buy one day, I happened to start talking music with one of the employees. He mentioned a band called Tiny Moving Parts, which is the same band Chad and I saw when we came up with our band name. I work with the drummer (Sean) at C&M Music in Mandeville, so that wasn’t a hard find. Now were the bestest of friends playing sad, loud music all around Louisiana.
