Bailey Richmond

Bailey Richmond is 11 years old and in the 6th grade at Gahanna Middle School West. Bailey was drawn to the stage from a very early age. As a toddler she would climb on the kitchen table or any stage that crossed her path and perform songs from Barney. Bailey began dancing at the age of 4 which allowed for many opportunities to perform on stage. She was introduced to theatre in the 3rd grade through her school's drama club at Royal Manor Elementary. She was encouraged by her 3rd grade teacher to pursue theatre opportunities outside of school. Since then, Bailey has worked with many theatre companies in the central Ohio area. Some of her favorite roles include Annie in the musical Annie, Nermal in Garfield the Musical with Cattitude and Edwina in Dear Edwina. In January of 2019, Bailey was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Musical by Theatre Roundtable of Columbus. In 2018 she place first in her age division at The Central Ohio Singing Competition and was a finalist at Voice of the City. When she grows up she wants to be a Kindergarten teacher for children with special needs. She also hopes to perform on Broadway.
